Camden Work and Wellbeing

At Camden Work and Wellbeing we support people who are living with mental health concerns to gain and sustain paid employment. We are a part of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust and support individuals into paid employment using the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model. IPS is internationally recognised as the best whole health Employment Model and most effective way to support people with mental health conditions to gain and sustain paid employment. (www.IPSgrow.org.uk) We work collaboratively with individuals to achieve their employment goals. We continue to support them in work to sustain their job for as long as they wish. Part of this support includes building relationships with employers, working closely to recruit suitable candidates and retain their staff by continuing to support individuals in work. Camden Work and Well-being are focused on making a positive difference and have proven to be successful at promoting recovery and improving self-esteem, by supporting individuals into finding employment and developing careers.

Do you want to get involved in volunteering and training opportunities?

We run a unique scheduled workday programme at the Clubhouse, where each day we have specific activities and tasks. Activities within the programme are developed in partnership with members and are based on members’ support plan and short and long-term goals.

We work in partnership with other specialist organisations who can offer practical help and support around housing, social opportunities, debt and accessing services.

It is an inclusive and collaborative experience that we are proud of. If you would like to join us, please contact enquires@hillsideclubhouse.org.uk or complete our online self-referral form.
